Who is Affected by Infertility?
Most people may think that a women's body is the main reason for infertilty but in all reality it is both the male and female that may not have fertility. In most cases the female infertilty is more common. While doing research it was said by many resources that a majority of the time couples will never know that they are infertile.
Women with STD's play a big role in infertility. The main cause of infertility is Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. PID is a bacterial disease that affects the organs of the reproductive system and areas in the pelvic region of the female anatomy.Some main causes of PID are Chlamydia, nonsterile abortions, herpes virus and pelvic tuberculosis.
In most cases there is not exlplained or stated reason for why some couples can not conceive. Ten to fifteen percent of will have no explained reasoning of why they may or may not be able to conceive.
What Causes Infertility?
There are many different factors that play a role in why a couple may or may not have the ability to conceive. Listed below are just a few in breif detail of the many that are listed.
1. Endometriosis which is a when parts of the endometrial lining that are supposed to be formed on the inside of the uterus develops on the outside of the utereus causing scar tissue to develop which in turn will prevent the egg from passing into the fallopian tube.
2. Polycystic-Ovarian Syndrome which is the production of high amounts of androgens found in women. Androgens are supposed to be found in men at high levels and low levels in women. POS prevent the women to produce a mature enough egg to reproduce.
3. Premature Ovarian Failure (POF) are also known as early menopause. This is caused by the early completion of follicles more than likley before the age of forty. Adreanal, pituitary and thyroid gland problems may cause POF as well as genetic factors, cancer treatments and diabetes may also cause POF.
